Thanks to the double extruder, the new Ultimaker 3 Extended can easily handle the printing of even the most complex geometries through application      water-soluble support materials. The unique solution used in Ultimaker printers also enables the printing of two-color objects or using two different materials.

Ultimaker 3 introduces intelligent, replaceable cores that can be replaced in a few seconds.      For additional security, PrintCore is equipped with LED diodes that inform the user about the current temperature of the nozzles.      The LEDs indicate whether the nozzle is hot or cold at the moment, the signal will also warn the user when the wrong material is loaded.

Active leveling

The capacitive sensor in the print head detects even the smallest tilt angle of the printing table. Ultimaker 3 automatically compensates by adjusting the height of the first layers. This leads to a much more accurate leveling and better adhesion of the printout to the work table.

New bed design

Ultimaker 3 Extended has been equipped with a new design of the working table, which is twice as rigid and 20% lighter. This leads to reduced vibration and higher print quality. In addition, like the previous Ultimaker model, the glass plate is easily removable which facilitates the removal of prints and maintenance. The table heats up to 100 degrees Celsius, thanks to which we obtain maximum print adhesion even with the most demanding materials.

Double pressure feeders

The pressure feeders exert greater force on the filament and also eliminate the exposure of the material to heat from the engine. Easily change materials for 3D printing, select the right pressure by pressing the button and use the lever function to manually insert or remove filament.

New and improved cooling system

Ultimaker 3 includes new fans that are enclosed in newly designed covers.      The new cooling system provides a significant increase in pressure, which ensures better cooling of the printouts, which translates into high quality printouts and reduced noise levels.
