Two traditional 3D printing techniques from a photopolymer resin are SLA (Stereolithography) and DLP (Digital Light Processing). In the case of SLA, the accuracy remains constant, but the speed of operation is inversely proportional to the amount of workspace occupied by the model. There is a constant speed at DLP, but precision decreases as the amount of workspace is increased. Zortrax UV LCD offers constant high speed and precision, regardless of how much workspace is in use.

Because one Zortrax Inkspire can make 77 HDMI end caps in an hour and a half, 30 cooperating printers can offer an approximate monthly production capacity of 360,000 to over 500,000 parts, depending on the number of changes in the operation of the farm. Therefore, Zortrax Inkspire can be used as a short, medium or high-volume production tool.

External Resins

External Resins

All external resin curing resins with a wavelength of 405 nm are fully supported, and their use does not limit the functionality of the printer. Z-SUITE software available free of charge with each Zortrax 3D printer has an 'external resin' section, where you can manually set all the printing parameters recommended by the resin manufacturer. The selected settings can then be saved as a material profile to avoid re-setting them while continuing to work with the resin.

Z-SUITE for Zortrax Inkspire

Z-SUITE is a dedicated software for cutting models on layers and managing 3D printing farms, which is available free of charge with any Zortrax 3D printer. Now it has many additional features that make working with Zortrax Inkspire a hassle-free experience.

Autorotation tool

The autorotation tool automatically sets the model in the workspace so as to reduce the number of printed supports, improve the adhesion of the model to the platform or reduce the printing time. In this way, less advanced users can get high quality prints.

Profiles of Resins

Z-SUITE facilitates work with all available resins. Settings for dedicated Zortrax resins are predefined and easily accessible. For external resins, all parameters such as exposure or rest time can be set manually according to the manufacturer's instructions. Once selected settings can be saved, you do not need to enter them again.

Smart supports

The exposure time for the model and supporting structures can be set separately. Longer exposure cures model supports, which may be thinner. In this way, the model requires less processing after printing.

Remote management
