SLS (Selective Laser Sintering) technology
The MfgPro230 xS 3D printer uses SLS (Selective Laser Sintering) technology, which consists in sintering successive layers of powdered material with a laser beam. A powdered polymer is placed on the working table of the 3D printer, on which the laser beam responsible for its selective melting is directed. The build plate then lowers and another layer of powder is applied. This process is repeated until the print is ready. SLS technology does not require the use of supports, which makes it possible to create objects with complex geometry that could not be obtained with the use of other technologies. Models made in SLS technology are characterized by high strength and durability.
