PVA (Polyvinyl Alcohol) is a fiber created specifically for use as an auxiliary material for hard-to-print objects. It is mainly used in combination with PLA, although it can be used with other materials. The material is soluble in water and allows easy printing of objects that would not be possible by other methods. Because the material is sensitive to moisture, it must be stored in airtight containers. In the case of a double printing session, it is recommended to cool the extruder when it is not in use.

Benefits

  • Enables you to create support structures for complex printouts.
  • Water-soluble.
  • Biodegradable and non-toxic.

Application

Used mainly for printing as a support material.

Low humidity ensures high efficiency

Your polyamide must be strong and your polyurethane elastic. A thoroughly controlled production process protects your material from pellets to be packaged at the molecular level.

Original materials adapted to every application

KODAK purchases each of its polymer materials from the appropriate suppliers in each segment to ensure optimal performance in your projects.
