The proprietary SVS technology removes visible layers from 3D prints

SVS (Smart Vapor Smoothing) technology evenly smoothes even the smallest detail, as well as prints with moving parts or those with complex geometry. This is done by automatically managing the temperature, pressure and solvent vapor density in the Apoller working chamber.

Compatible with all FDM / FFF 3D printers

Zortrax Apoller can smooth out models printed on all 3D printers printing in FDM, FFF, LPD and LPD Plus technologies. The device is compatible with filaments based on ABS, HIPS and ASA, regardless of their manufacturer.

A network of flexible production tools

3D printer farms are very cost-effective solutions and perfectly cope with low-volume production, enabling rapid changes in projects. Additionally equipped with Apoller post-processing devices, they are able to create products of a quality equal to those made by means of injection molding.

A solution for low-volume production

In cooperation with external suppliers, there is virtually no room for freedom in introducing changes to the project, and in the case of low-production production, there is also the problem of high unit cost of the product. Lowering costs will only be possible at the appropriate scale. After investing in the production of injection molds, the company is virtually no longer turning away from previously made design decisions.

Automatic smoothing of 3D models

The whole process of smoothing 3D models is simple, automated and safe, so it can be carried out by untrained personnel.

Print

Print the model on any 3D printer type FDM, FFF or LPD / LPD Plus.

Smooth off

Insert the model into the smoothing chamber, close the door and select the correct settings on the touch screen.

Enjoy

Apoller will take care of all the rest. After approx. 3 hours, the models are smoothed and ready for use.

Vacuum system

The vacuum system in the Zortrax Apoller prevents the pressure inside the working chamber from rising to outside pressure even when the solvent has been evaporated. Thanks to this, the chamber is tight and the solvents do not escape outside.

An advanced system of vapor circulation and condensation

The vapors inside the Zortrax Apoller working chamber are spread upwards to evenly cover the model. At the same time, delicate and geometrically complicated details are covered with a smaller amount of solvent to leave their shape intact. After the process, the condensation system collects the excess solvent that can be re-used.

Advanced security system

Thanks to the high degree of redundancy that has been used in the device, Zortrax Apoller offers reliability in the industrial class. The vapors are tightly closed in the chamber behind two gaskets that keep the pressure inside it below the ambient level. The cleaning procedure always takes place automatically before the door is unlocked. In this way, working with Apollo is safe all the time.

The safety system is ATEX certified and meets the high standards set by the directive regulating the operation of equipment operating in an explosive atmosphere.
