Prusa MK4 is a reliable 3D printer working in FFF technology with a working area of 250 x 210 x 220 mm. The printer provides fast, easy and reliable 3D printing. MK4 has a load cell sensor that guarantees perfect first layer printing. In addition, the device is equipped with a new extruder (Nextruder) and a 32-bit platform that provides remote printing, quick nozzle replacement and a personalized user interface with the option of one-click printing.
Advantages of the MK4 printer:
The Prusa MK4 3D printer provides easy, fast and quiet 3D printing. The device enables quick replacement of nozzles and printing surface, which significantly speeds up the production process. It will be perfect both in the household and in schools, art studios or the automotive industry.
The printer is equipped with Input Shaper and Pressure Advance technology, which eliminate vibrations caused during printing and can predict the flow of the filament, which reduces printing time by up to 70% compared to MK3.
MK4 has a precise strain gauge sensor that ensures a perfectly smooth and consistent first layer automatically, without user intervention. The nozzle first touches the table, moving in a grid-like pattern, precisely measuring the distance, then calculating the correct offset. The result is a perfect first coat on any surface, with no manual adjustment required.
The printer is equipped with a new generation extruder in which all parts such as fans, heaters, thermistors, etc. are connected directly to it. The use of this solution greatly facilitates the exchange and shortens its time.
The new xBuddy board is a 32-bit STM32 powered motherboard with many great features. The board has several unique hardware protections, communicates with four thermistors and has all the important ports (Ethernet, Wi-Fi, works with USB-A memory sticks). The entire board was designed, manufactured and tested by Prusa.
The MK4 printer features redesigned, more durable plastic parts and new 0.9° precision stepping motors on the X and Y axes to eliminate vertical fine artifacts (VFA) on prints. In addition, the Z axis has thicker 10mm rods. This makes the finished prints of high quality.
The device has an LCD display that supports G-code thumbnails, longer texts, graphics, QR codes and other functions that make work easier. The menu has been redesigned and a new customizable footer has been added to the bottom of the screen. Above the screen there is a set of LEDs that indicate the current status of the 3D printer. In addition, there is a USB-A port next to the screen, which allows the use of a standard USB memory stick.
In the MK4 printer, the nozzle is mounted with two quick-release knurled knobs, which are located next to the Nextruder, which makes changing the nozzle much easier. Special nozzles with an all-metal filament guide (without the use of PTFE tubes) have been used, which improve the reliability of the device. A simple Nextruder-to-V6 adapter is available.
The software developed by Prusa has developed and tested profiles. PrusaSlicer is equipped with many functions such as creating supports, dividing the model into parts and automatically placing models on the table. The software facilitates and enables quick preparation of models for 3D printing.
The MK4 printer is compatible with a wide range of different materials. The device allows you to print, among others, from materials such as PLA, PETG, ABS, ASA, Flex, HIPS, PA, PVA, PC, PP, CPE, PVB, and composite materials.
The device is supported by Prusa Connect. This solution allows you to control the printer via the Internet. Prusa Connect allows you to add G-Code files in the browser window, so as to upload them first to the cloud, and then transfer them to the printer's USB memory and start printing remotely.
The 3D printer, due to its parameters and functions, is perfect for home use, production, education, architecture and in the automotive industry.
The printer allows you to print home decorations for the kitchen, living room and even the garden.
MK4 allows you to create all kinds of figurines, collectibles and even board games.
The MK4 printer is ideal for schools, universities, and educational and research institutions.
Using a 3D printer significantly speeds up and reduces the cost of creating refined models with fine details.
The MK4 3D printer is the perfect solution for any industry. The device is easy to use and provides reliable 3D printing.
The use of 3D printing in the automotive industry increases flexibility and production efficiency.
Detailed instructions and guides are provided with the printer to facilitate installation and operation.
The assembled MK4 3D printer compared to the self-assembly kit differs only in the form in which it is delivered. The MK4 is fully assembled and tested, making it ready to use right out of the box. After connecting the printer, just do the initial calibration and the device is ready for 3D printing.
MK4 is a safe and reliable 3D printing device. Every part used in the printer has been tested. In addition, the printer is equipped with four thermistors and a high-quality power supply. When the MK4 detects heat-up problems, it will stop the printer to avoid damage.
