The GLOBAL3D offer includes a material that combines ease of printing, aesthetic appearance and lower environmental impact. Biodegradable filament based on bioplastic (mainly PLA) is an excellent choice for prototyping, demonstration models and ready-made elements with high aesthetics. Low shrinkage and predictable parameters mean that the design can be easily translated into a repeatable, stable print.

What distinguishes biodegradable filament?

BIO materials are made largely from renewable raw materials. They provide smooth walls, good interlayer adhesion and odor neutrality during printing. Unlike many engineering plastics, they require lower temperatures, making them user-friendly andcompatible with a wide range of 3D printers.

  • Visual effect - expressive colors, glossy Silk versions, composites (e.g. BioWOOD) and mineral finishes (PLA Mineral).

BIO filaments in the GLOBAL3D offer

For projects requiring ease of printing and wide application, classic PLA filaments such as Fiberlogy Easy PLA, Raise3D Premium PLA or Polymaker PolyLite PLA are suitable, which are suitable for everyday projects and prototyping. Aesthetic varieties - Rosa3D PLA-Silk with an intense gloss or CarbonLook with a carbon fiber-inspired appearance offer impressive aesthetics. PLA Mineral is suitable for architectural models and sculptures - thanks to the mineral filling, the detail resembles a plaster cast. The natural character is provided by WOOD / WOOD composites, e.g. Rosa3D BioWOOD, which offers a pleasant, "wooden" aesthetic.

For projects requiring greater mechanical resistance, materials such as Tough/Impact PLA or PolyMax PLA will work - they combine the simplicity of printing typical of PLA, and at the same time better withstand loads and impacts. In the case of fast printing priority, solutions such as Raise3D Hyper Speed ​​PLA available in the HIGH SPEED tab are used. The offer also includes PLA NW9 from Grupa Azoty (Tarfuse) - both in the standard and AM versions with antibacterial additives.
