The BCN3D OMEGA I60 features BCN3D's signature IDEX technology, a massive 60 liter print volume, 70ºC heated print chamber, temperature and humidity controlled material control system and a high-speed direct drive extruder that reaches speeds of up to 300 mm/s.

The BCN3D Omega I60 3D printer includes an upgraded version of the IDEX system, which doubles productivity by using both heads simultaneously. It is characterized by a large working area of ​​450 x 300 x 450 mm and an actively heated working chamber up to 70ºC. The device is equipped with a system for controlling the temperature and humidity of materials. In addition, the printer uses a high-speed direct-drive extruder and allows the use of materials with a diameter of 1.75mm.

IDEX system

The device has the Independent Dual Extrusion (IDEX) technology characteristic of BCN3D, which is distinguished by the unique ability to print using two independent heads. Users can double their productivity with duplication and mirroring modes. The BCN3D Omega I60 is equipped with the improved IDEX technology, in which the X-motors remain stationary during printing, which greatly speeds up the 3D printing process.

HAQ-XY kinematics

The HAQ-XY kinematics is considered one of the best systems for dual extruder 3D printers and CNC machines because it is light, strong and precise. The BCN3D Omega I60 uses an improved version of this kinematic system and places the pulleys in a more optimal position.

The BCN3D Omega I60 is equipped with a powerful extrusion system that is made of industry-leading components, including Bondtech LGX Pro direct drive extruders with a diameter of 1.75 mm. This system provides greater control and precision. Also includes custom E3D Revo hotends that offer best-in-class extrusion reliability as well as easy nozzle changes.

The printer comes with built-in accelerometers and 32-bit electronics, along with a dedicated version of Marlin 2.1 software. This combination increases the capacity of the machine, enabling efficient production of parts with an impressive speed of 300 mm/s and acceleration of 10 m/s².

The actively heated chamber maintains the perfect temperature throughout the 3D printing process. Temperature control ensures consistent print quality. After finishing work, the printed model undergoes a gradual cooling process to ensure the best possible dimensional accuracy and mechanical durability of the printed part. The chamber can reach temperatures of up to 70ºC, making it ideal for printing materials such as ASA, PA, ABS and reinforced PA.

It is an integrated module that allows you to control the humidity and temperature of materials. The key advantage is the ability to recover damaged material and the ability to preheat the filament before printing. This is very important when using technical materials with higher heat deflection temperatures. In addition, the material handling system enables the automatic loading and unloading of the filament.

XYZ Auto Calibration

The printer has an auto-calibration of the XYZ axis, which uses piezoelectric sensors, thus ensuring proper adhesion of the first layer. During calibration, the machine measures multiple adjustment points for the height of the printing surface (Z) and the offset between the nozzles (XY). The Omega I60 has a build table with a special calibration zone outside the printing surface.

  • Omega Proto - is a custom formula developed for the BCN3D Omega I60 and ideal for prototyping, jigs, fixtures and low load guides. The filament offers a smooth matte black surface finish and isotropic properties, making it suitable for both basic and functional prototyping.
  • Omega Impact ASA - the material is characterized by high durability and resistance to UV radiation, making it ideal for outdoor use.
  • Omega Resistant Nylon - is a high-quality material characterized by chemical resistance. It will be perfect as a replacement for materials such as acetal, which is commonly found on production lines.
  • Omega Tooling CF - is a specially developed material characterized by high strength. It is ideal for manufacturing metal replacement parts, metal forming dies, bending tools and end-use parts that require exceptional strength.
  • Omega Support - is a support material that is compatible with all the above-mentioned materials. The filament allows for easy removal of the supports without the need for dissolution.
