The Epsilon W50 SC is a professional 3D printing solution that has been designed to deliver large-scale parts from industrial-grade materials. The Epsilon W50 3D printer has a passively heated chamber and a closed housing. The Epsilon W50 3D printer and Smart Cabinet create a professional solution for 3D printing. The materials placed in the Smart Cabinet are always kept in the right conditions and always ready for use. BCN3D SC has a built-in UPS, thus ensuring uninterrupted printing during a power failure. 

Smart Cabinet is not only a device for storing filaments in the right humidity. Smart Cabinet together with the Epsilon W50 printer is a complete ecosystem that was created with a view to professionalization and optimization of 3D printing. Intelligently integrated solutions designed and manufactured by BCN3D are a response to the requests of users of industrial 3D printers.

The new generation of BCN3D printers

The Epsilon series of printers has been improved, which resulted in a new generation of the best BCN3D printers. BCN3D has updated and introduced technical improvements to its Epsilon series printers such as a new look, automatic calibration and improved electronics.

The frame of Farguell printers has been remodeled for a sleeker look. In addition, the bottom of the printer has been reinforced, which improves rigidity and correct parallelism of the axes.

The new generation of BCN3D printers

Improved electronics

Epsilon printers gained a new ventilation system, new motor controllers and a new motherboard. Improved Trinamic TMC2130 motor drivers ensure very quiet operation and greater efficiency, while the new motherboard has been designed specifically for Epsilon 3D printers so that all components are on one board.

Automatic calibration

XYZ Auto Calibration is another recently added feature and the fastest on the market. With the push of a button, this automatic process can reduce print setup time from 40 minutes to just 6 minutes. In addition, this reliable technology eliminates reliance on human criteria, reducing room for error and ensuring proper first layer adhesion every time. The calibration process is done by measuring multiple points to automatically adjust the height of the printing surface and the offset (XY) between the two nozzles. This is done by using the square on the back of the print surface. The heads use this small hole to touch the sides of the heads, calculate their positions on the left and right axes, and then calibrate the correct offsets between them. This XY alignment ensures that they are perfectly aligned and avoids crossing or shifting of layers when printing in Duplicate mode.

The Epsilon W50 3D printer is a professional industrial class device. It has a system of two independent extruders (IDEX), which allows you to print in duplicate and mirror modes, significantly increasing the efficiency of 3D printing. Epsilon W50 has a closed chamber with a HEPA and carbon filter, allowing the use of technical materials such as: ABS, PET-G, Nylon, PP, PP GF30, PAHT CF15.

BCN3D Smart Cabinet

Smart Cabinet has been designed to extend the life of the materials and provide them with appropriate conditions. The device is equipped with a gel, which is responsible for absorbing moisture. It can hold up to 8 small spools (from 750g - 1kg) or 4 large spools (up to 2.5kg) of filaments.

The Smart Cabinet is a device that complements and enhances the Epsilon series of 3D printers, which was launched in November 2020. It is an alternative to other drying methods that can damage and degrade the fibers. Smart Cabinet maintains materials at an optimal level of humidity without the need to use potentially harmful heat, thus eliminating damage to the filaments.
