Maintenance operations that can be performed with the kit:

Axle lubrication and cleaning

To ensure smooth and precise operation of the mechanical components of the 3D printer, the axes should be cleaned and lubricated periodically, according to the maintenance notifications displayed on the 3D printer's LCD screen.

Hotend cleaning

Proper maintenance of the printheads is important to ensure optimal part printing. Maintenance of the inside of the hotend should be performed weekly, with each material change, or if the nozzle is clogged.

Installing washers

Shims are elements that mechanically correct Z-axis offset when printing in Mirror or Duplicate mode. In these modes, both heads work simultaneously, so it is very important that both nozzle tips are at exactly the same height.

Hotend change

The maintenance kit contains 2 hotends with a diameter of 0.4 mm. It is recommended to change a new hotend when a clean hotend is not obtained when performing the "Nylon Cleaning Method" described in the "Cleaning the Hotend" process.
