The extruder is equipped with a hardened screw that ensures durability and strength when mixing various materials. Additionally, the extruder has a 4-zone, independent heating system that allows you to experiment with various additives, plastics and powders. The Composer 450 also has an optical tank sensor that monitors the material level.
The Composer 450 extruder allows you to reach temperatures of up to 450°C, which allows you to use a wide range of materials for various applications in 3D printing.

Filament Maker ONE Composer 450 has an intuitive OLED display and a multifunctional navigation system that allow for easy operation of the device. The extruder also has special, pre-set profiles for materials such as PLA, ABS, PA12, PC or PEEK. Additionally, it allows you to create your own custom extrusion profiles.
Vertical extrusion guarantees the precise appearance of the filament, and direct winding on the spool improves the quality of 3D prints. The extruder is equipped with a modern and sustainable cooling system, which has two fans responsible for even cooling.
The extruder has an optical sensor that measures the filament diameter with a precision of 43 microns. Additionally, Composer 450 is equipped with a special system that adjusts the extrusion speed to ensure constant control of the material diameter.
The Composer 450 features an adjustable spool mount that supports a variety of spool sizes, providing flexibility in material production. The extruder allows you to determine the dimensions of the spool, which guarantees perfectly wound material. The device supports reels with a diameter of up to 240 mm and a width of 120 mm.
The 3devo Filament Maker extruder is an advanced device designed to process granulate or ground plastic waste into high-quality 3D printing filament. The production process takes place in several key stages:
1. Raw material feeding
Material in the form of granules, ground waste or processed 3D prints is poured into the hopper. Thanks to the controlled feeding system, the raw material is evenly supplied to the extruder screw, which ensures process stability.
2. Melting and homogenization
The raw material is transported by the extruder screw to the heating zones, where it is gradually heated and plasticized. 3devo Filament Maker uses precisely controlled temperature zones that ensure even polymer melting and homogenization. Appropriate temperature and screw speed parameters allow you to obtain a homogeneous mass without air bubbles and structural defects.
3. Filament extrusion and forming
The molten material passes through a nozzle with a precisely defined diameter, forming a continuous filament. The cooling system based on controlled air or water circulation stabilizes the dimensions of the filament and prevents its deformation.
4. Diameter measurement and control
Built-in laser sensors constantly monitor the filament diameter, enabling automatic adjustment of process parameters to maintain constant dimensional tolerance. This results in a high-precision filament, suitable for professional 3D printing applications.
5. Winding on a spool
The finished filament is evenly wound onto the spool using an automatic winding system that ensures appropriate tension and material arrangement. After the process is completed, the filament is ready for use in 3D printers.
The DevoVision application allows you to monitor key elements such as heating settings and filament diameter in real time. Additionally, the application allows you to track the speed and rotation of the screw, which are visualized on charts. These charts can be easily exported to Excel for further analysis.
The Filament Maker ONE Composer 450 extruder is equipped with a mixing screw that allows you to mix and combine materials, as well as experiment with different types of materials. The Filament Maker ONE Precision 450 extruder, on the other hand, has a high-flow screw that is designed for high-quality mass production.
