How does the 3devo filament extruder work?

Filament production using 3devo extruders is a carefully planned, but easy to understand process that allows you to obtain high-quality material for 3D printing. Here's how it works - step by step:

• 1. Pouring the material – Granules, ground waste or old prints go into the tank, from where they are evenly fed to the machine.
• 2. Melting and mixing – The material is heated and mixed until a uniform, liquid mass is created without lumps and bubbles.
• 3. Forming the filament – ​​The melted plastic passes through the nozzle, creating a thin, continuous thread – i.e. filament. It is then cooled to keep its shape.
• 4. Thickness measurement – ​​Sensors constantly check the filament diameter and, if necessary, correct the settings to maintain constant quality.
• 5. Winding – The finished filament is evenly wound on the spool and ready for use in the 3D printer.

3devo Filament Maker TWO (available in HighFlow and Fusion versions)

It is the most advanced extrusion system, created for R&D laboratories, universities and professionals who want to have full control over every process variable. The HighFlow version offers high-performance extrusion, while the Fusion version has a special screw for intensive mixing of materials, ideal for creating complex composites.
