Based on the latest SHINING 3D technology, FreeScan Trak is able to capture the spatial position of the scanner in real time, offering a portable, efficient and reliable 3D measurement solution. The scanner is adapted to work in AIRMASTER ™ technology and does not require any cable connections with a computer or an optical tracker. The nominal weight of the scanner is 1.2 kg, thanks to which the work with the device does not burden the operator's hands.

The system helps the operator to get rid of the time-consuming process of sticking the tags. This makes it easier to obtain 3D data of medium and large size objects with accuracy at the metrological level. Suitable for a variety of static and dynamic applications including large-scale 3D inspection in the aerospace, automotive, marine and energy industries, etc.

Typically, when creating a 3D model, scanners need markers as reference points. In the FreeScan Trak system, the scanner is the reference point, thanks to which the scanned model can be freely moved during scanning and measurements, while allowing comfortable and free work in any environment. The scanning head itself (without the optical tracker) can be used as a scanner for scanning smaller objects.

The accuracy is up to 0.03 mm and the resolution is up to 0.05 mm. But one of the most important features of this machine is its high repeatability, which allows Fast Trak to be used in quality control.

The lack of physical cables between the tracker and the scanner allows for unhindered work. The modern, precise technology of wireless connections between the scanner and the tracker allows for perfect synchronization of both terminals.

FreeScan The Probe

The FreeTrak probe is a portable wireless CMM probing system designed for use in production halls and other demanding industrial environments. The system is unaffected by environmental influences such as vibration and changes in position during operation, allowing users to move the optical tracker or wireless probe at any point in the measurement process to generate data with the same high accuracy.

The system is an ideal alternative to solving production problems caused by bottlenecks found in traditional CMMs, optimizing the overall efficiency of product cycles and providing real-time CAD inspection reports.

The FreeScan Probe system is equipped with Shining 3D's proprietary software - EinSpector, which uses a precise algorithm for matching scanned models to the original CAD models, which allows you to create color maps of deviations between the scanned object and its model and automatic measurement of dimensional tolerance.
