The EinScan HX is an industrial, handheld 3D scanner that uses a hybrid combination of a blue LED and a blue laser. The scanner can scan using the blue LED light, which allows fast scanning, or the blue laser, which provides better performance when scanning reflective and / or dark colored objects. Using the blue LED light, the device scans at a speed of 1,200,000 points / s, while when using a laser, it scans at a speed of 480,000 points / s.

EinScan HX

The EinScan HX 3D scanner provides the high resolution and accuracy that is essential for most industrial reverse engineering and measurement applications. The accuracy when scanning with LED light is up to 0.05 mm, and when using a laser, 0.04 mm.

The EinScan HX 3D scanner operating in the fast scan mode can scan at a speed of 1,200,000 points / s with an accuracy of 0.05 mm. The field of view of the scanner when using LED light is 200 - 700 mm, and the point distance is 0.25 - 3 mm. Working in laser mode allows you to scan most objects in a few minutes. The scanning speed is 480,000 points / s with a scanning accuracy of 0.04 mm. The field of view of the scanner when used with a laser is 350 - 610 mm, and the point distance is 0.05 - 3 mm.

Solid Edge software

Solid Edge is a comprehensive 3D design system that uses synchronous technology to accelerate design, make changes faster, and enable the reuse of scanned models. Along with the EinScan HX scanner, the Solid Edge software is included in the set, thanks to which we obtain a complete solution for reverse engineering that allows further processing of scanned models. The software is delivered with a perpetual license with free updates for 12 months.

Solid Edge is the most complete hybrid 2D / 3D CAD system that uses synchronous technology. Scanned models can be further processed in Solid Edge so that they can be corrected, modified and extended. The package includes Solid Edge software dedicated to SHINING scanners with a dongle plugged into the USB port.

The software processes the data resulting from scanning in a way that ensures their compliance with the native CAD workflow. This makes it an ideal solution for scanning and printing and for downstream reverse engineering applications. Geomagic Essentials enables direct editing and processing of scans, filling holes, reducing size, smoothing, sharpening edges, reducing noise, setting model orientation, converting to NURBS surface - complete scan preparation for further modeling process.
