The scanner can scan using blue LED light, which allows for fast scanning, or blue laser light, which provides better performance when scanning reflective and/or dark colored objects. The device uses blue LED light to scan at a speed of 1,200,000 points/s, and when using a laser at a speed of 480,000 points/s. The EinScan HX 3D scanner provides the high resolution and accuracy that is essential for most industrial reverse engineering and measurement applications.

The EinScan HX 3D scanner working in fast scanning mode can scan at a speed of 1,200,000 points/s with an accuracy of 0.05 mm. The scanner's field of view using LED light is 200 - 700 mm and the point distance is 0.25 - 3 mm. Working in laser mode allows you to scan most objects in a few minutes. The scanning speed is 480,000 points/s with a scanning accuracy of 0.04 mm. The field of view of the scanner using the laser is 350 - 610 mm, and the point distance is 0.05 - 3 mm.
