FreeScan X7 allows you to create a starting point for modeling in CAD (Computer Aided Design) - significantly simplifies the prototyping process and reduces the time needed for modeling. The comfortable, ergonomic shape and low weight of the FreeScan X7 scanner make it an ideal choice for complex and long-lasting projects. Weighing only 0.95 kg - a lightweight portable scanner can often create more accurate and better-matched parts compared to creating models from scratch in CAD systems.

Laser scanners are characterized by high accuracy and quality of mapping real objects to the form of digital 3D models. Unlike scanners working in structured light technology - they have no restrictions related to the color or texture of the scanned object, so you can work with objects with a metallic, reflective surface. Thanks to the use of laser measurement technology, the scanners ensure perfect results both when scanning indoors and outdoors. Laser technology also allows you to scan hard-to-reach places - including holes, which are often inaccessible to structured light scanners.

Lightweight, ergonomic design

Portable laser 3D manual measuring system weighing only 0.95 kg and profiled ergonomic design allows comfortable scanning of even very large objects. Models do not have to be scanned still - it is possible to place them on a rotary table, which allows further increase of scanning efficiency.

Laser scanning technology

The use of laser scanning technology allows for obtaining high speed and accuracy of scans - virtually no limits on the geometry and size of the object. The scanning accuracy is 0.03 mm at a speed of up to 450,000 points per second, which makes the scanner a professional and fast measuring unit.

DigiMetric photogrammetric system

FreeScan X7 3D scanner can optionally work with the DigiMetric photogrammetric system, which allows precise scanning of objects up to 80m in size. Photogrammetry is a measurement method in which the 3D coordinates of reference points are obtained by processing photos from a digital camera. The DigiMetric system is used to calculate the values ​​of 3D coordinates of markers stuck to the surface of an object, which are then applied to a fixed coordinate system, which is then used to precisely combine large-size scans. The use of the DigiMetric system increases the precision of scanning large objects and significantly speeds up the entire digitization process.
