Modern clothing design using a 3D printer.

3D printed fashion

Challenge

Young fashion designers are not afraid to use new technologies to improve their creative process. Klaudia Filipiak is one of those people - since 2013 she has been designing fashion using, among others, 3D printing. In this way, it tries to discover new methods of designing and personalizing recipients for individual clients.

Solution

Using the multifunctional ZMorph 3D printer, Klaudia produced various objects from plastic, rubber and other flexible filaments. Then she combined them with pieces of cloth, thus creating a dozen outfits for her models. 3D printed jewelry by Paula Szarejko was used by her to complement these unique styles.

Result

The entire collection of costumes and 3D printed jewelery was presented for the first time during an hour-long show during the TIF International Fair in Greece in 2014. Since then, Klaudia and Paula have continued their cooperation, and machines with the ZMorph logo enable them to create previously unattainable forms by combining various materials.
