The filament is based on PPA (polyphthalamide or high performance / high temperature nylon), which is characterized by a higher melting point, glass transition temperature (Tg), lower moisture absorption and greater dimensional stability.

The addition of glass fiber improves the properties of the PPA matrix, which makes the printed PPA GF parts used for end-use applications in the automotive, aerospace, electrical and electronics industries.
