What sets the Prusa CORE One+ INDX 3D printer (assembly kit) apart

Advanced tool changer

Advanced tool changer

Prusa CORE One+ INDX 3D printer - assembly kit features specialized nozzles designed to minimize filament waste during nozzle purging when switching materials. This solution reduces the consumption of consumables and shortens print times. An advanced tool-changing system enables rapid and precise material switching, while also allowing for printing with up to 8 different filaments within a single print job.

Enclosure and intelligent temperature control

Prusa CORE One+ INDX 3D printer - assembly kit features a spacious build volume of 248 × 205 × 270 mm. A heated chamber, capable of reaching temperatures up to 55°C, combined with an intelligent ventilation system, enables printing with both demanding technical materials such as ASA, polycarbonate (PC), and nylon and standard PLA.

Enclosure and intelligent temperature control

Lightning-fast nozzle change in just 12 seconds

Single-nozzle multi-material printing systems currently on the market lose approximately 43 seconds with every filament change. These systems must retract, cut, and feed the filament, as well as clean the hotend wasting both time and material on every single layer. The INDX tool-changing system reduces this time to just 12 seconds per change, significantly streamlining the multi-material printing process. Faster material switching translates into higher productivity, shorter print turnaround times, and more efficient resource utilization.

Fast nozzle heating

The movable print head features an induction coil that enables the rapid heating of the steel nozzle to its operating temperature in just a few seconds. Once the task is complete, the nozzle returns to its designated position, where it can cool down. Keeping inactive nozzles at a low temperature prevents filament leakage and reduces the risk of cross-contamination between materials. As a result, the INDX system ensures precise and reliable operation, even when using up to eight different materials in a single print process.

Fast nozzle heating
Automatic leveling

Automatic leveling

Automatic bed leveling is performed before every print, ensuring high precision and repeatability throughout the printing process. The system utilizes a strain-gauge sensor that detects the force exerted by the nozzle against the build surface, allowing for an accurate determination of the bed's position. Compared to solutions based on optical sensors, this technology offers superior measurement accuracy and accommodates the easy swapping of nozzles and tools. As a result, the Prusa CORE One+ INDX 3D printer - assembly kit maintains calibration precision regardless of the specific configuration used.

Advanced nozzle wiper

An advanced nozzle cleaning system removes material residue from the nozzle surface before printing begins, reducing the risk of material contamination and the formation of unwanted defects on the finished model. The wiper is integrated with a waste container that collects small remnants such as micro-clumps ensuring reliable multi-material printing.

Advanced nozzle wiper

Self-adjusting clamp for various materials

Automatic extruder pressure adjustment allows for the precise tuning of filament feed force to match the specific properties of the material being used. Soft materials, such as TPU, require a different level of pressure than rigid technical filaments or fiber-reinforced composites. The INDX print head features a specialized mechanism that automatically adjusts the pressure applied by the extruder gears, ensuring a seamless transition between materials with varying characteristics. As a result, switching materials requires no manual adjustment or recalibration, which streamlines the workflow and enhances the overall ease of operating the device.

Active temperature control in the chamber

Technical materials are particularly prone to deformation caused by uneven cooling, which can lead to corner lifting, delamination, and a reduction in print quality. The Prusa CORE One+ INDX 3D printer - assembly kit minimizes this risk with a heated chamber capable of reaching temperatures up to 55°C. Maintaining stable conditions improves the quality of prints made from demanding technical materials. Furthermore, an intelligent chamber ventilation system allows for the efficient removal of excess heat when printing with filaments sensitive to high temperatures, such as PLA. This enables printing with the doors closed, eliminating the need to manually adjust operating conditions by opening the enclosure.

Active temperature control in the chamber
Limiting the use of large cleaning towers

Limiting the use of large cleaning towers

Most multi-color printing systems require the use of a purge tower, which leads to additional filament consumption and increased waste. Prusa CORE One+ INDX (assembly kit) reduces the need for large purge towers, allowing for more efficient material usage during printing. This translates to lower filament consumption, reduced operating costs, and a more economical approach to multi-material printing.

100% offline and private

Prusa CORE One+ INDX assembly kit enables offline operation, ensuring full control over the printing process and local data storage. Independent operation without the need for a network connection enhances security and privacy, which is particularly important in environments where the confidentiality of projects and technical documentation is a priority.

Frequently Asked Questions - Prusa CORE One+ 3D Printer

The CORE One+ has a build volume of 250 x 220 x 270 mm. This is 30% larger than the MK4S enclosure, with 50% smaller external dimensions (415 x 444 x 555 mm).

The CORE One+ features automatic top venting (opening/closing depending on the material), a new filament feed point for easier feeding of flexible materials, a new spool holder for different spool sizes, and all CORE One firmware updates. The build volume, CoreXY kinematics, Nextruder, and chamber temperature (55°C) are identical.

The CORE One L has a twice as large build volume (300 × 300 × 330 mm vs. 250 × 220 × 270 mm) and a higher chamber temperature (60 °C vs. 55 °C). The CORE One L features a new build table with two fans, two included nozzles, and a removable camera. The CORE One+ is a compact model designed for high-density print farms.

The printer supports 1.75mm filaments: PLA, PETG, Flex (TPU), PVA, PC, PP, CPE, and PVB. A chamber heated to 55°C allows printing with ASA, ABS, PC, and PA (nylon). The Nextruder with a High-Flow CHT nozzle supports print profiles for over 200 filaments. A special filament sensor mode simplifies feeding flexible materials.

Yes. Compact dimensions, a 180° opening door, and filament feeding from a spool above the printer allow for high rack density. Prusa Connect enables remote fleet management. The printer operates fully offline – the Wi-Fi module is disconnected.

The extruder automatically opens the top ventilation grille when printing with low-temperature materials (PLA, PETG) and closes it for high-temperature materials (ABS, ASA, PC, PA). The system ensures optimal thermal conditions without operator intervention – a new feature introduced in the CORE One+ model.

The CORE One+ works with PrusaSlicer (an open-source slicer with profiles for 200+ filaments), Prusa Connect (remote print and fleet management), and the Prusa App (a mobile app with Printables.com integration). The printer supports offline mode without a network connection.

Yes. GLOBAL 3D is the official distributor of Prusa printers in Poland. The purchase includes delivery of the original device from the distributor for the Polish market.
