Prusa CORE One+ 3D Printer

What makes Prusa CORE One+ INDX 3D printer stand out?

Advanced tool changer

Prusa CORE One+ INDX 3D printer is equipped with dedicated nozzles that reduce filament waste associated with nozzle cleaning when changing materials. This solution reduces consumable consumption and shortens print turnaround times. An advanced tool-changing system allows for quick and precise material changes, while also providing the ability to print with up to 8 different materials in a single print run. This allows the CORE One+ INDX to combine high performance with material savings and the flexibility to implement complex multi-material designs.

Housing and intelligent temperature control

Prusa CORE One+ INDX offers a spacious build volume of 248 x 205 x 270 mm while maintaining a compact design. A heated chamber with temperatures up to 55°C, combined with a smart ventilation system, allows you to print with demanding technical materials like ASA, polycarbonate (PC), and nylon, as well as standard PLA.

Housing and intelligent temperature control

Durable, all-steel construction

Prusa CORE One+ INDX is designed for demanding work environments, such as professional workshops and 3D printing farms. Its robust construction, based on an all-steel exoskeleton with no adhesives, ensures durability and simplifies serviceability. Its modular design and spare parts availability enable efficient maintenance, reduce downtime, and support long-term, reliable operation.

100% offline and private

Prusa CORE One+ INDX allows for offline operation, providing full control over the printing process and local data storage. This independent operation without a network connection increases security and privacy, which is especially important in environments where confidentiality of designs and technical documentation is a priority.

100% offline and private

Instant nozzle change in just 12 seconds

Commercially available single-nozzle multi-material printing systems waste approximately 43 seconds per filament change. They must retract, cut, and feed filament, and clean the hotend, wasting time and material on each layer. The INDX tool changer reduces this time to just 12 seconds per change, significantly streamlining the multi-material printing process. Faster material changes translate into higher productivity, shorter print turnaround times, and more efficient resource utilization.

Fast nozzle heating

The movable print head is equipped with an induction coil. This allows the steel nozzle to quickly heat up to operating temperature in just a few seconds. After printing, the nozzle returns to its original position where it can cool. Keeping inactive nozzles at a low temperature prevents filament leakage and reduces the risk of cross-contamination. This allows the INDX system to ensure precise and reliable operation with up to eight different materials in a single print run.

Fast nozzle heating
Automatic leveling

Automatic leveling

Automatic bed leveling before each print ensures high precision and repeatability of the printing process. The system uses a strain gauge sensor that records the pressure exerted by the nozzle on the build surface, enabling precise positioning of the bed. Compared to solutions based on optical sensors, this technology provides high measurement accuracy while also allowing for the easy exchange of nozzles and tools. This allows the CORE One+ INDX printer to maintain precise calibration regardless of the configuration used.

Advanced nozzle wiper

The advanced nozzle cleaning system removes filament residue from the nozzle surface before printing, reducing the risk of material contamination and unwanted defects in the finished model. The wiper is integrated with a waste container that collects small residues in the form of micro-lumps. This solution ensures reliable multi-material printing and helps maintain high print quality.

Advanced nozzle wiper

Self-adjusting pressure for various materials

Automatic extruder pressure adjustment allows precise adjustment of the filament feed force to the properties of the material being used. Soft materials, such as TPU, require a different pressure than stiff technical filaments and fiber-reinforced composites. The INDX printhead is equipped with a special mechanism that automatically adjusts the pressure of the extruder gears, ensuring smooth transitions between materials with different properties. This means that changing filament does not require manual adjustment or recalibration, improving workflow and increasing the printer's user experience.

Active temperature control in the chamber

Technical materials are particularly susceptible to warping due to uneven cooling, which can lead to corner lift, delamination, and reduced print quality. Prusa CORE One+ printer minimizes this risk with a heated chamber that reaches temperatures up to 55°C. Maintaining stable thermal conditions improves the quality of prints from demanding technical materials. Additionally, the intelligent chamber ventilation system allows for effective heat dissipation during printing with heat-sensitive materials like PLA. This allows printing with the door closed, without having to manually adjust the operating conditions by opening the enclosure.

Active temperature control in the chamber
Reducing the use of large cleaning towers

Reducing the use of large cleaning towers

Most multi-color printing systems require a cleaning tower, which generates additional filament consumption and waste. Prusa CORE One+ INDX reduces the need for large cleaning towers, allowing for more efficient material use during printing. This translates to lower filament consumption, lower operating costs, and more cost-effective multi-material prints.

EasyPrint software

EasyPrint is free software accessible through a web browser that allows for intuitive preparation of designs for 3D printing without the need to install additional applications. The design process is simple and convenient – simply select the desired model surface, assign it the appropriate color, and then send the finished file directly to the printer. This makes preparing multi-color prints quick and accessible even to users without advanced technical knowledge.

EasyPrint software
Plug and Print

Plug and Print - factory calibration

The printer is factory calibrated and ready to use right out of the box. A one-time calibration is all it takes to start printing. Recalibration is available from the menu if necessary. Advanced sensors, including a strain gauge in the Nextruder, ensure automatic bed leveling and a perfect first layer across the entire surface.

Nextruder with 360° Cooling and Input Shaper

The upgraded Nextruder Direct Drive extruder with 360° cooling enables flawless printing of complex, unsupported parts with an angle of up to 75°, saving time and material. CoreXY kinematics, a high-flow nozzle (Prusa Nozzle High-Flow CHT), and Input Shaper technology (active vibration cancellation) ensure high print speeds without sacrificing quality. Print profiles developed by Prusa Research almost completely eliminate vertical fine lines and unsightly vertical stripes, allowing you to use finished prints as final products. Nextruder is compatible with E3D V6 nozzles (with an adapter).

Actively heated chamber up to 55 °C

The compact, volume-minimized build chamber allows for quick temperature gains of up to 55°C. The automatic ventilation system and active temperature control ensure optimal printing conditions for advanced materials: ASA, ABS, PC, and PA (nylon) – without warping. The all-steel housing structure is an integral part of the printer, providing the stability and rigidity necessary for operation at elevated temperatures.
