The original Prusa XL Satin Powder-coated Print Sheet offers a balance between smooth and textured build plates. Its powder-coated, lightly textured matte surface provides excellent adhesion, especially when printing with PLA and PETG, while also supporting a wide range of materials such as ABS, ASA, FlexFill 98A, and polycarbonate (PC). The build plate is compatible with high-temperature Curie magnets, ensuring secure mounting and easy removal after printing. The surface is resistant to minor mechanical damage, though sharp tools and acetone should be avoided, as acetone can cause micro-cracks and degrade the PEI layer. This versatile and durable solution is ideal for everyday printing with a broad range of filaments.
