The Epsilon W27 3D printer is an industrial printer with a system of two independent extruders (IDEX), which allows for high-resolution 3D printing - using multiple materials. The IDEX system allows each of the two printheads to move in the X axis completely independently of each other. Two independent heads enable, among others, printing in duplication and mirroring modes, and their effect is a significant reduction in design and production time. It allows you to print from materials with admixtures of fibers for the best quality and durability, and using ABS, PP and PA for the best prototypes or concepts. Epsilon W27 is perfect for small-lot production, 3D printing of machine parts and prototyping.
The unique system of two independent IDEX extruders allows you to print from two different materials or colors simultaneously, while ensuring the best surface finish.
While one printhead is printing, the idle one remains parked, which prevents melted plastic from dripping onto the printout.
The Epsilon W27 3D printer allows you to create functional parts by combining the properties of two different materials, such as rigid and flexible filaments, and printing in two different colors. The Epsilon W27 3D printer is equipped with a closed working chamber, which thanks to the use of passive heating of the chamber ensures a constant, designated temperature during the printing process. This prevents warping and curling of prints when printing from technical materials such as ABS, PET-G, Nylon, PP, PP GF30, PAHT CF15. The HEPA filter and the carbon filter built into the printer protect the working environment from potentially harmful particles and the unpleasant smell of melted plastic. The printer has a filter wear level control system, which allows you to get accurate information about the time of replacement of worn parts.
The hotends used in the BCN3D Epsilon W27 3D printer have been carefully designed by e3D ™ to provide the smoothest and most reliable extrusion ever. Depending on the needs and specifics of a given model, hotends with nozzles of 0.4mm, 0.6mm, 0.8mm and 1mm and a special hardened Hotend X 0.6mm head are available. Hotends from e3D, due to their unique design, are characterized by much higher temperature stability, thanks to which we can enjoy higher precision and a reduced number of visual artifacts on the printout.
Metal Pack enables rapid prototyping and final metal production using 3D printing. This method is a perfect alternative or complement to classic MIM and CNC technologies, offering similar mechanical properties and much greater design freedom.
The Metal Pack will contain one spool of Ultrafuse® 316L (3kg) and one Ultrafuse® 17-4PH (3kg), a dedicated Magigoo 316L adhesive that is also compatible with the 17-4PH material, two new Hotends M and new brass nozzle wipers for metal.
The extruders in the printer feature Bondtech ™ advanced dual drives for greater material feed control, sharper detail and excellent performance, no matter what filament is used. The Epsilon W27 has a 5 "color touch screen with which the entire device operation is performed. The attractive and intuitive interface is equipped with advanced functions and wizards that guide the user step by step through the calibration, printing and maintenance processes. The device is equipped with an end sensor. The filament will stop the print and inform the user about the lack of material. After filling the filament, the print will be resumed. Mechanical sensors guarantee full reliability and maintaining printing continuity - even with large and long-lasting 3D prints - regardless of the type and color of the fiber used.
The printer comes with the dedicated BCN3D Stratos software, which supports the process of preparing models for 3D printing. The program converts a digital 3D model into a set of instructions understandable to a 3D printer. This complex process has been carefully optimized and tested to work with BCN3D printers, as a result of which the user enjoys error-free and reliable 3D prints.
The BCN3D Stratos easily uses all the advantages of the IDEX system: in addition to the key functions such as duplication and mirror - it is possible to combine multi-material models, generate support structures, and even reduce printing time by using hotends with different nozzle sizes while printing simultaneously.
The software includes a set of ready-made print profiles for all manufacturer's materials supported by the printer. The software license provides for the possibility to run on any number of computers.
