KODAK ABS Filament
The KODAK ABS filament for Kodak 3D printers is a combination of durability and impact and temperature resistance.
ABS is a widely used fiber suitable for producing more durable and stronger parts than with PLA, because it can withstand higher temperatures, is slightly more flexible and can be easily painted. It can be treated with acetone or acetone vapor to give it a shiny finish (watch out!) And strengthen the object or solidly glue the parts together. Use HIPS as a carrier material for ABS printing. ABS shrinks when it cools, so use a closed printer with warm and constant air temperature (> 25 ° C) to prevent delamination or warping.
