The original Prusa XL PP Powder-coated Print Sheet was developed specifically for printing with polypropylene-based filaments, especially Prusament PP Carbon Fiber Black. Standard satin or textured build plates typically do not provide sufficient adhesion for PP materials, which is why this build plate features a special surface finish to improve adhesion and overall print stability. Its lightly textured surface resembles a satin finish, enhancing the appearance of the first layer while masking minor mechanical wear. The build plate is compatible with high-temperature Curie magnets, ensuring secure attachment and easy removal after printing. This makes working with polypropylene more stable and convenient, while maintaining a professional surface quality.
