The original Prusa XL PA Nylon Powder-coated Print Sheet was designed for demanding polyamide-based filaments, such as Prusament PA11 Carbon Fiber Black. Standard satin or textured build plates often provide insufficient adhesion for these materials, which is why the PA Nylon surface has been specially developed to ensure stable first layer bonding and reliable printing. This build plate does not require additional adhesives like glue sticks. To maintain its performance, it should only be cleaned with pure water, or with water and a drop of dish soap to remove greasy spots. Using isopropyl alcohol, acetone, or other harsh chemicals will quickly damage the surface and shorten its lifespan. Dedicated to polyamide materials, this solution guarantees consistent results and ease of use.
